We’ve given you incremental updates all summer on the progress of the Moises Caicedo to Chelsea transfer – why stop now?
Moises Caicedo arrives at Cobham for medica
With a deal agreed between the Blues and Brighton, and Liverpool’s interest fended off, the player is finally free to take the final steps towards completing this deal. Personal terms are already long agreed, so the most important step remaining before he is announced as a Chelsea player is the medical.
We heard earlier today from Florian Plettenberg that the first part of that process was already complete, and now Sky Sports are adding that the Ecuador star is at Cobham for part two.
He’s likely having the tests right now, and once they’re complete the transfer can be officially completed. Then it will just be a question of announcing the deal and getting him training with the squad, with a potential debut against West Ham on the cards this weekend.
