Brighton transfer news: Lille’s coach admits the possibility of Baleba leaving
Lille is playing the Conference League’s playoffs today against Rijeka, but that is not the only issue that the manager, Paulo Fonseca, has. As already reported, Carlos Baleba is close to signing with Brighton, and the Portuguese coach talked about this happening before the game.

“There is the possibility that Carlos Baleba will leave. But he is here today. He will be in the match. He has to be concentrated on our match because he is here. I have spoken with Carlos. He is very motivated to be part of the group for this match”, told Fonseca at the press conference before the game.

According to reports from TNT Sports Argentina, the Newell’s Old Boys forward Brian Aguirre is wanted by Brighton and Leicester. Although the Argentinian has a contract until December of 2025, it is reported that the Seagulls’ offer would be close to €9.2m. Inter Miami already made a proposal for Aguirre this transfer season, but it got rejected. The 20-year-old made three goals and four assists from 28 games this year.

Brighton transfer news: Andrew Moran is set to join Blackburn on loan

The transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reported that Brighton did the deal with Blackburn for the Irish young star Andrew Moran on loan. The medical exams are booked on Friday. The 21-year-old had other offers from Germany and Holland, but Brighton made sure that the player could fit perfectly the team and style of the coach – and that will happen with Jon Dahl Tomasson at the Championship.
