Burnley confirm the departure of their key central defender

Jack Turner, who joined Burnley from Barking early last season and won himself a regular place in the centre of defence in the under-21 team, has moved out on loan and joined Hyde United for the season.

It was something of a surprise when he was named as a substitute at Millwall this week for our opening game but this loan move was potentially in the offing for the giant central defender.

He has joined Nicky Spooner’s squad at Hyde for the entire season and could make his debut tomorrow for them in the Northern Premier League Premier Division against Worksop Town where they have not had the best of starts with just o ne win in their opening four games.

We wish Jack the very best during his season at Hyde.
