After the latest round of talks, Milan have reportedly started to move away from Hugo Ekitike due to Paris Saint-Germain’s high demands.
The Rossoneri have been on the hunt for a new striker, keen to bolster Stefano Pioli’s frontline following the departures of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ante Rebic. 36-year-old Olivier Giroud is continuing to play a leading role in the squad.
Milan opened talks with PSG recently to start discussing a possible move for Ekitike, who struggled for consistent minutes in Ligue 1 last season.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan have started to move away from Ekitike due to the fact that PSG are not open to a loan deal with a permanence clause, except with very high figures.
The Rossoneri are now evaluating other options to replace Lorenzo Colombo, who is set to make the move to Monza.
Milan now have a week to secure a new striker and have decided not to sign a new left back in order to focus their efforts on their frontline.
