Latest on Pursuit of Wilfred Ndidi
He is the club’s current top target, and the expectations are that a proposal will be sent to Leicester soon. According to Romano, personal terms between Forest and Ndidi have been agreed, with the Nigerian midfielder reportedly earning 76k per week at Leicester.
The summer transfer window ends soon, and Steve Cooper’s squad will look to bolster their depth with the midfielder. After finishing 16th last campaign, Ndidi would be an excellent addition for the City Ground faithful.
Leicester City coach Enzo Maresca was questioned on the transfer status of multiple of the club’s players, one of them being Ndidi. The Italian stated: “The window market is open. Anything can happen.” His words are vague, but they do show that the sale of the 26-year-old is not off the table.

Nottingham Forest have bolstered their squad this window and look a more threatening club. Loan deals for Andrey Santos from Chelsea and Gonzalo Montiel from Sevilla add depth and strength, which would only get better if they could secure the purchase of Ndidi.
