Brighton receives transfer boost as they're set to sign another fantastic 19-years-old brilliant star who will finally replace caicedo

Brighton & Hove Albion has focused on an African talent who is about to complete his transfer to the Premier League in their search to replace Moises Caicedo.

Caicedo recently completed a £115 million transfer to Chelsea after quickly becoming a household figure in Premier League football over the course of the previous season.

However, Brighton has now selected Carlos Baleba to take Caicedo’s place in the defensive midfield position. According to Fabrizio Romano, a leading expert on transfers, Brighton is reportedly close to signing the 19-year-old Lille midfielder.

 

Carlos Baleba is currently in Brighton for the second phase of medical testing, tweeted Romano.

It is now time to sign the #BHAFC Told contract, which has a 2028 expiration date with a 2029 extension option.
