Dane Scarlett, a forward for Tottenham, has been loaned to Ipswich Town for the entire season.

Prior to spending last season on loan at League One club Portsmouth, the 19-year-old made first team outings for Spurs under Jose Mourinho, Nuno Espirito Santos, and Antonio Conte.

Ange Postecoglou, the manager of Tottenham, stated the young player has “definitely got a future” at White Hart Lane after substituting Scarlett at halftime in Tuesday night’s Carabao Cup match against Fulham.

Prior to his transfer to Portman Road, the Premier League club has revealed that the teenager has signed a new deal (of an unknown term).

In addition to goalkeeper Cieran Slicker (Man City, undisclosed), midfielder Jack Taylor (Peterborough, £1.5m), winger Omari Hutchinson (Chelsea, loan), full-back Brandon Williams (Manchester United, loan), and striker George Hirst (Leicester, £1.5m), Scarlett was a key member of England’s U19 team that won the European Championship last summer.

Wes Burns, Conor Chaplin, Nathan Broadhead, Kayden Jackson, Hutchinson, Marcus Harness, Sone Aluko, Hirst, and Freddie Ladapo are among the attacking players he will put up against.

I’m really happy to start here, Scarlett said to TownTV, wearing the number 24 shirt during his stay at Town.

“Even though the relocation has been planned for a few weeks, I just found out yesterday that I was relocating formally.

“Last season, I played against Ipswich, and it was a good game. I enjoyed the way the squad played, so I’m excited to be a part of it.

Kieran McKenna, the manager of the Blues, said about Dane: “Dane is a really dynamic young forward who the staff and I have known about for a long time.
