Sasa Kalajdzic is a target for AC Milan, who made a late bid to sign the Austrian international. Wolves have had to fend off AC Milan’s interest.

According to a report from the Italian website Tuttomercatoweb, Milan was considering the 26-year-old as a possible replacement for Olivier Giroud.
Fans of the Wolves will be hoping their hearts out that Sasa Kalajdzic has a breakthrough season this year. He certainly merits a little luck at this point in his career.

Kalajdzic was targeted by Milan.
Of course, the forward moved to Molineux last summer for £15 million. But after just one appearance, he suffered a severe injury that forced him to miss the entire season.

He has resumed playing. And he scored the game-winning goal in Everton’s thrilling victory last month. Additionally, he scored in this week’s Carabao Cup victory over Blackpool.

There was a possibility the game may be his last for the team. According to Tuttomercatoweb, Milan moved to see if they could bring Kalajdzic to San Siro.

Wolves, though, have argued that he is standing still. And given how many important players have left during this transfer window, that will be good news for the team.

They should receive something in return for keeping Kalajdzic this year.
