Nottingham Forest are reportedly set to sign Norwich centre-back Andrew Omobamidele, with the Tricky Trees having a ‘proposal accepted’ for him.
The 21-year-old signed for the Canaries as a teenager and has impressed with his composure in possession and defensive abilities.
Omobamidele is set to become Nottingham Forest’s eleventh signing of the summer, with a deal for PSV midfielder Ibrahim Sangare also nearing completion.
The Republic of Ireland international has made 55 appearances in total for Norwich, scoring two goals in the process.
Now, he is set to make a switch to Nottingham Forest ahead of the transfer deadline.

That is according to reputed transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano. On Twitter, he wrote: “Nottingham Forest agree deal to sign Andrew Omobamidele, Norwich accept the proposal — here we go! Player going to undergo medical tests right now.”
Steve Cooper will hope that the many additions he has made this summer will help Nottingham Forest avoid relegation again this season, and hopefully build on their 2022/23 campaign.
As long as Omobamidele completes his medical, he will be announced as a new Nottingham Forest player imminently.
