The acquisition of left-back Casey Shann by QPR is now official.
After excelling during a trial, the 19-year-old, who was released by Brighton this summer, was granted a one-year deal.
He just joined the team on trial, and West London Sport announced on Wednesday morning that Rangers planned to sign him.
Since Shann was a free agent, he can be signed after the transfer window has closed.
Prior to being acquired by Brighton in January of last year, he was with Sutton United and had previously been a member of Tottenham’s roster.
Shann has been contracted with Rangers to play initially for their development squad.
Gareth Ainsworth, the manager of the first team, wants to add at least one aggressive player.
Many forwards who are currently unsigned have been taken into consideration as possible signings.
Chris Martin, a seasoned striker who has been weighing his options since his short-term contract expired after the conclusion of the previous season, is still a target for Rangers.
