This week, Alex Moreno, a defender for Aston Villa, will resume training to hasten his injury rehabilitation. He underwent surgery during the summer and is currently vying to return to competition.

He moved to England in January and has already made a good impression. He formerly played for Real Betis. Throughout the second half of last season, he made 19 appearances across all competitions. He has adapted well to life in the Premier League.

Aston Villa will be hoping he can catch up quickly and assist in their future games. The former Real Mallorca and Rayo Vallecano player played 122 games for Betis in total, contributing six goals before moving to Villa Park.
Jacob Ramsey has been out since breaking his metatarsal while representing England’s Under-21 team in July. He hasn’t quite recovered enough to be ready to go back yet.

The 22-year-old participated in 38 games last season and scored six goals. Aaron, his brother, was sold to Burnley, a club in the same top division, last month.

Tyrone Mings has long-term joined Emiliano Buendia in the therapy room there. On the first day of the season, the defender suffered a serious knee injury during the game against Newcastle United.
He must now undergo surgery and go through a protracted recovery period. Pau Torres, who had worked under Emery, was recruited by Aston Villa from Villarreal to fill his role. Aston Villa actively pursued his acquisition.

Last season, Timothy Iroegbunam drew the attention of the London club while playing on loan at QPR in the Championship. Since then, he has gone back to his original club, however he is now out with no set date for selection.
