Crystal Palace takes on Aston Villa today, and one man should be sacrificed from the starting lineup to improve the team’s attacking quality.

Crystal Palace has had a strong start to the Premier League season. They have two wins, one tie, and one loss.

Over the international break, they sat in seventh place with seven points, and this upcoming encounter will be a true test for both sides to see if they can compete in the top half or the bottom half.

If the Eagles can defeat an Aston Villa side that qualified for Europe last season, it will be a huge statement of purpose, and losing one player will see them become a more dangerous attacking threat.
One player should be dropped by Roy Hodgson.
Jeffrey Schlupp has not had the ideal start to the Premier League season. Due to the club’s lack of options in that position following Wilfried Zaha’s departure, the versatile player is being asked to play on the left wing.

The 30-year-old has started all four games this season, but he has yet to score or assist.

When replacing Zaha, you need to provide more in attack, and Roy Hodgson may be better off dropping the player to improve the quality of attack.
When Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson substituted the £50,000-a-week player against Wolves in their previous game, the Eagles appeared to have more attacking flexibility.

The team scored two goals, with Jean Philippe-Mateta, Schlupp’s successor, providing two assists. Meanwhile, Eze was shifted into Schlupp’s position and scored a goal as well.

Unfortunately, Schlupp is offensive, and the Eagles need to make sure they have the strongest attacking options starting, or they may struggle to break down a difficult Villa side.
