Ipswich Town Youngster joins Premier League club after rejecting new deal at Ipswich

Ipswich Town youngster Tawanda Chirewa has completed a move to Premier League side Wolves, it has been confirmed.
Ipswich Town have seen a number of players come through their ranks and into the first-team over the years. Cameron Humphreys and Elkan Baggott are just two current prodigies who look set for bright futures at Portman Road and both will have played alongside midfielder Chirewa in the academy setup.

Over the years, Ipswich Town has had a lot of players progress through their ranks and into the first-team. Cameron Humphreys and Elkan Baggott are two current prodigies with bright futures at Portman Road, and both will have played in the academy alongside midfielder Chirewa.

19-year-old prodigy Chirewa has appeared three games for Town’s senior team, although he has now moved up the leagues.

Wolves, a Premier League club, have announced the signing of the Ipswich academy graduate. He was welcomed into the Molineux U21s setup after being watched by the club when he was in U16s football.

After learning his trade in Ipswich’s youth systems, he’ll be hoping to grow further and take his game to the next level with Wolves with the hope of making a professional breakthrough.
