Sandro Tonali lauds Bruno Guimaraes after Newcastle breaks record

What a welcome return to form! Sunday was a successful day for Newcastle United.

Despite a shaky start at Bramall Lane, Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United blasted eight past a hapless Sheffield United outfit, marking Premier League history.

No team in the division’s history has ever had eight different goal scorers in the same game (excluding own goals), as the Magpies did in South Yorkshire.

Bruno Guimaraes was among those who scored, and the Brazilian had Sandro Tonali licking his chops after the game.

After the Sheffield United game, Sandro Tonali sends a four-word message to Bruno Guimaraes.
Tonali was among the first on social media to congratulate Guimaraes on his goal.
“Great match and happiness for my first goal of the season!” the Brazil star captioned an Instagram photo of himself celebrating.

“I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome another little boy into our family!” Hello, Pietro! “Daddy and mommy already adore you.”

Tonali answered with “Bruno, Bruno, Bruno, Bruno” and a slew of love hearts.
Hopefully the beginning of something wonderful.
Tonali did not start on Sunday, although he did come on for the final stages alongside Guimaraes.

So far, it’s fair to say that things haven’t gone as planned, with both of PIF’s significant midfield recruits operating in the middle.

Sheffield United v Newcastle United - Premier League

Clearly, more difficult tests will come, but even the brief time they spent together with no pressure may help the duo create a much stronger understanding in the future.

Quality players should be able to play together, and if Newcastle is to repeat their success from last season, they will need both to be on fire.

With Burnley up next in the Premier League, perhaps that favorable-looking test will provide them with another opportunity to impress.
