Salernitana Coach Paulo Sousa Names Milan Outstanding Ace as the Next prim Zidane

Salernitana coach Paulo Sousa has termed Milan midfielder Yacine Adli on the same page as French icon Zinedine Zidane. According to the Portuguese manager, Adli is the new Zidane for his technical qualities but stressed on the importance for him to find continuous game time.

In his post-match press conference following the defeat to Empoli, Sousa gave an account of the loss at the Stadio Carlo Castellani and also shed light on his former player.
“The team has grown in terms of construction, but that’s not enough.

We had space, but we were slow, we conceded too much to the opponent. We tried to give continuity to our game, but we didn’t succeed. I think we all did badly in this match. We have done some extraordinary things in the past, and we can do them again.”

Sousa coached Adli during their time together at Bordeaux before the youngster moved to Italy.
“We always love each other very much. He’s an extraordinary boy, super creative. An exemplary worker, for me the new Zinedine Zidane for his technical qualities. He needs consistency, though.”
