QPR are poised to be without defender Morgan Fox when they face Leeds. The Chelmsford-born player suffered a knee injury in the R’s recent 3-1 home loss to Coventry City.

They swooped in the summer to sign the 30-year-old after he left Stoke City, and he has made eight appearances for the London club so far. He has previously played for Charlton Athletic and Sheffield Wednesday.

The Hoops’ boss Gareth Ainsworth has provided this update to West London Sport: “It was difficult to lose Morgan. He’s been an outstanding performer in defence. But it’s opportunities for other people now. He landed funny on his knee and we’re going to look at that, but I don’t envisage he’ll be back for this week. We’ll have to be careful with that one.”
