Grady Diangana praised John Swift following West Brom’s victory over Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday (3 October).

On 13 minutes, the 28-year-old scored the lone goal of the game with a stunning shot into the top corner, giving the Baggies a 1-0 triumph over the Owls at the Hawthorns.

After the game, Albion released a photo of the midfielder on Instagram, which Diangana shared on his Instagram story with the phrase “what a player.”

Pivotal

There is absolutely no doubt about the fact that Swift is pivotal to this West Brom side and he proved that once again against Sheffield Wednesday.

He arrived in the box at just the right time to send a right-footed effort into the top corner after being picked out with a cross from Jed Wallace.
The goal against the Owls takes Swift onto five for the campaign in the Championship and means he’s only one strike behind his tally from last season.

Diangana clearly recognises that his teammate is an excellent player and he, as well as everyone else associated with the club, will be hoping he can maintain his form over the coming weeks to help the Baggies continue their rise up the table.
