Inter Milan is ‘discussing’ a move to Newcastle United.
Inter Milan are allegedly in talks with Nicolo Barella about extending his contract. During the summer, Newcastle United reportedly made a £50 million approach for Barella, which the Serie A club rejected before the Magpies signed AC Milan’s Sandro Tonali.

Barella, who helped Inter reach the Champions League final last season, is now under contract with the club until 2026, but interest from Newcastle United throughout the summer has called his long-term future at the club into question. The Italy international has started all seven of Inter’s Serie A games this season and played all but one minute of their Champions League victory over Benfica.

Goals from Hannibal Mejbri, Jhon Duran, Leandro Trossard, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Bruno Fernandes, Joachim Andersen, and Julian Alvarez will compete with Almiron’s performance for the title of Premier League Goal of the Month in September. A win for Almiron would be his third time receiving the accolade, with Andros Townsend being the only player to have three wins since the award’s inception in August 2016. The Paraguayan won this title in October last year for his spectacular volley against Fulham, seven months after his first Premier League Goal of the Month honor came against Crystal Palace at St James’ Park.
