Newcastle are keeping a tight eye on Jarrod Bowen’s situation, which is thought to be ‘moving slowly’ at West Ham.

Newcastle and Liverpool have both been ‘placed on alert’ as the right winger’s future in East London appears to be in doubt for the time being.

According to Eurosports1, Eddie Howe is a ‘big fan’ of the player and would like to bring him to Tyneside if the opportunity arose.

Despite the delay in contract talks, West Ham are ‘hopeful’ that they will persuade their star player to stay, with the 26-year-old in outstanding form and recently earning a recall to England’s team.
