In the upcoming match against Coventry City on October 30th, West Brom is expected to make several changes to their lineup. Cedric Kipre’s “very serious” injury rules him out, and 20-year-old Caleb Taylor is likely to replace him in the defense. Additionally, Semi Ajayi’s fitness is uncertain, and Alex Mowatt is expected to return to the midfield in one of two changes.
Alex Palmer is likely to remain the goalkeeper, given his recent impressive performances, including six clean sheets in his last eight matches. The central defense will see changes due to Kipre’s injury and Ajayi’s absence, with Taylor possibly partnering with Kyle Bartley and Erik Pieters.
Matt Phillips and Darnell Furlong are expected to continue as wingbacks, having been in good form throughout the season. In midfield, Nathaniel Chalobah’s recent strong performances make him undroppable, and he is likely to be joined by the returning Mowatt.
This would mean Okay Yokuslu might be benched, although Corberan has been rotating his midfield recently.
The attacking trio is likely to remain largely unchanged, with Grady Diangana and Jed Wallace flanking Brandon Thomas-Asante in the attack. Diangana recently scored his first Championship goal and created numerous chances in the previous match. Wallace has been a consistent presence in the team, having started 12 out of 13 Championship matches this season. Thomas-Asante is expected to lead the attack while Josh Maja and Daryl Dike recover from their injuries.
