Carlos Corberán has shared encouraging updates regarding the fitness of Jeremy Sarmiento and Semi Ajayi. According to the manager, both players successfully completed Thursday’s training session with the first-team and are set to be included in the matchday squad for the Hull City game on Saturday, provided they don’t encounter any issues during Friday’s training.

Jeremy Sarmiento, the Ecuador international, hasn’t been in action since the end of September, while Semi Ajayi, the Nigeria international, last played two weeks ago against Plymouth Argyle. Carlos stated, “Jeremy Sarmiento and Semi Ajayi are two potential additions to the matchday squad on Saturday if they complete Friday’s training session. They both trained with the team on Thursday without any problems.”

The return of these two players is a significant boost for the team, especially considering the recent absence of several players. Semi Ajayi’s availability adds another option in the center-back position, and he was a part of the starting lineup at the beginning of the season. Jeremy Sarmiento, on the other hand, provides a wealth of attacking possibilities. This development is positive news as it enhances the squad’s competitiveness, ultimately strengthening their ability to compete effectively against opponents.
