According to 90min, Newcastle United had club executives in the grandstand on Sunday night to see Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Newcastle, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Manchester City scouts were all present to see the Napoli winger in Georgia’s Euro qualifier against Spain on Sunday night, according to reports. The 22-year-old scored in a 3-1 loss and now has three goals and five assists on the season.
Kvaratskhelia is reported to be in negotiations with the Serie A giants about extending his contract, but this isn’t the first time he’s been linked with a big-money move to the Premier League.
The Athletic and The Telegraph have previously verified our interest in the £75 million-rated Georgian, while The Times’ Martin Hardy claimed he was a’major transfer target’ for the club heading into 2023 this time last year.

He’s one of Europe’s most exciting young players and would be an excellent acquisition. However, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich would all be interested in signing him.
