Tyler Herro was having a fantastic season before spraining his ankle against the Memphis Grizzlies on November 8th. However, Herro is determined to stay fit so he can continue his hot start to the season.
Prior to his injury, Herro was a powerful force for the Miami Heat. So much so that he believes he was on track to make an All-NBA squad before getting hurt.
Herro was making a compelling case to be considered for an All-NBA squad position. The dynamic guard was averaging 22.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game while shooting 50.6% from the field and 43.8% from deep range.
Herro made it known before the season began that he wanted to disprove any naysayers. Herro came into this season like a man on a mission after hearing his name tossed about all offseason, especially in a failed package for Damian Lillard.
“We were performing at an All-NBA caliber. First, second, and third teams. This year, we were going to have an all-NBA team.”
Tyler Herro stated in his most recent YouTube video
Tyler Herro in his latest YouTube video going through his recovery process:
“We were playing at an All-NBA level. 1st team, 2nd team, 3rd team. We were gonna make an all NBA team this year.”

The Heat are coming off a memorable NBA Finals run. The Eastern Conference remains very excellent, if not better than previous year. Herro will have to be an integral part of the Heat’s title push if they are to stun the world and win a championship.
Herro is expected to return to the Heat’s lineup in the coming weeks. The squad currently has an 8-5 record and will only want to improve with Herro back in the lineup. Herro will try to return to his pre-injury level, which might be a terrifying moment for the league.
