Chris Kamara, a BRADFORD CITY icon, will be in town this weekend to promote a book about his life.

Chris Kamara, who both played and coached for the Bantams, published his new autobiography, ‘Kammy: My Unbelievable Life,’ this autumn.

He’ll be signing copies of his memoirs at Waterstones in Bradford’s Wool Exchange on Saturday (November 25) from 10 a.m. to 12.

Waterstones said in a post on X, formerly Twitter, “This Saturday – the chance to meet a legend (and get a perfect #bcafc Christmas present in the back of the net?)”

Kamara began his career as a footballer for Bradford City, appearing in 23 games and scored three goals during the 1994/95 season. He later became manager at Valley Parade from 1995 to 1998, when he departed to become manager at Stoke City.

From 1992 to 2022, he was a Sky Sports presenter and football expert.

Last year, Kamara stated that he suffers apraxia of speech, a disease that affects how a person connects speech messages from their brain to their mouth.

In King Charles III’s New Year’s Honours list, Kamara was awarded an MBE for services to football, anti-racism, and charity.
