Max Verstappen has identified his preferred victories of the 2023 season, citing triumphant performances in Miami, Japan, and the Netherlands as standout moments on his path to securing a third World title. Notably, Verstappen surged from ninth on the starting grid to overtake teammate Sergio Perez and claim victory in Miami, followed by a fervent home crowd at Zandvoort and a commanding display at Suzuka. Reflecting on the season, Verstappen pinpointed these races as the most memorable among his numerous triumphs in 2023.

Verstappen’s win in Miami played a crucial role in the championship race, showcasing his ability to effortlessly surpass Perez, setting the tone for an unprecedented streak of 10 consecutive wins. As the Red Bull driver heads into the 2024 season with a remarkable seven-race winning streak, he considers the victories in Miami, Zandvoort, and Suzuka as the highlights of his record-breaking year.

In response to inquiries about maintaining motivation with a substantial lead in the championship, Verstappen, in his typical fashion, emphasized his passion for driving and the inherent motivation that comes with the prospect of winning. Despite securing the title early in Qatar, Verstappen continued his dominant form throughout the year, amassing 19 wins in 22 races and a historic 575-point total. While acknowledging the unique nature of Formula 1, Verstappen expressed that his motivation remains high due to the substantial chances of winning in most races. He highlighted the potential challenge of finding motivation when victory is unattainable but affirmed his current position at the top makes maintaining motivation comparatively easier.
