Newcastle release behind-the-scenes footage ahead of Everton clash – Watch here

Newcastle’s media staff has revealed some training ground footage ahead of tonight’s journey to Merseyside, where we face Everton in a 7.30pm kick-off on Amazon Prime.

The behind-the-scenes video includes Anthony Gordon’s reaction to being drawn against Sunderland in the FA Cup, clips of suspended midfielder Sandro Tonali, Bruno Guimaraes celebrating a tackle in a training drill (including Eddie Howe! ), and Lewis Miley competing against Matt Ritchie at Teqball.

It’s nice to see the guys in high spirits, and it’s evident that there’s a strong sense of solidarity throughout the team, with U21 players like Ben Parkinson and Amadou Diallo being welcomed by our senior players before the practice begins.

It’s notable that none of our injured players have returned to action, but it’s hoped that Sven Botman, Sean Longstaff, Joe Willock, Harvey Barnes, and Callum Wilson will be able to do so shortly.
