Ma’a Nonu signs up again for San Diego in Major League Rugby
Ma’a Nonu, the 41-year-old former All Black rugby player, has extended his contract with the San Diego Legion for the upcoming Major League Rugby competition.
Throughout his illustrious career, Nonu has played for various teams, including the Hurricanes, Highlanders, Blues, Chiefs, and Toulon in France. A two-time World Cup winner, he has represented New Zealand in 103 tests.
After the 2015 World Cup, Nonu joined Toulon for six seasons before joining San Diego in 2020. The San Diego Legion, led by former All Black halfback Danny Lee, expresses excitement about having Nonu back, highlighting his significant impact on and off the field during the previous season, contributing to the team’s success and breaking both Club and League records.
