Fans of the Buffalo Bills tossed snowballs again. This time, though, it backfired.
The Buffalo Bills’ fan base is noted for its uniqueness. The fandom known as the “Bills Mafia” is known for performing some wild antics. Sometimes that involves jumping on burning tables in the parking lot. Sometimes Bills fans go too far, hurling snowballs at opposing wide outs. But this time, it backfired.
Buffalo Bills Fan’s Snowball Backfires
A Buffalo Bills fan tried to hurl a snowball at Kansas City Chiefs receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling. However, the fan appeared to miss his objective when the snowball struck Bills CB Cam Lewis in a sensitive spot. This all occurred as both guys were in the right corner of the endzone, chasing down a throw from quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
Repeating Occurrence
Believe it or not, this is not the first time Bills fans attempted to hurl snowballs at opposing wide receivers during the playoffs. This occurred last week as well. Back then, the target was Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens.
This appears to have captured the attention of other NFL fans and media people. Now that it has been verified that this is a recurring issue, the Buffalo Bills and/or the NFL may need to intervene in the offseason.
