It was first believed that Andrews’ significant ankle injury from his game against the Cincinnati Bengals on November 16 would finish his season. But just in time for the big game, it was revealed on Friday that he had been activated off injured reserve.

Following the Bengals game, it was discovered that Andrews had suffered a serious ankle injury, which at first was thought to be the end of his season. After more testing revealed that he had shattered his fibula, more ligament damage resulted, and the initial diagnosis was that he would miss the remainder of the regular season and maybe the whole postseason.
