Take an apple and put him on a spit because Clay Travis is going to be burned.
For the most part of the season, the Trump-loving, anti-vaccine writer and pundit with an opinion on practically everything made fun of the Kansas City Chiefs. When they defeated the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday in the AFC Championship Game to go to the Super Bowl, Twitter produced the necessary evidence.
Travis did not, however, tweet, “The Taylor Swift Super Bowl is here.” Ravens, you let America down.
“No football fan of any race wanted two weeks of Taylor Swift, Kelce, and the Chiefs,” he said. Today, we were all supporters of the Ravens, even Lamar.
Even the legendary tennis player Game, Set, Match was on Travis.
With a 17-10 victory over Baltimore led by tight end and pop sensation Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who were at their peak in the first half, Kansas City’s defense produced another masterwork against Lamar Jackson, and the Chiefs advanced to the Super Bowl for the fourth time in five years.
The major concern for this month’s Super Bowl in Las Vegas is whether Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, will be allowed to attend while on tour. Kelce caught 11 catches for 116 yards and a score. The 34-year-old Kelce was at his peak when the pop sensation returned to the scene on Sunday.
After breaking Jerry Rice’s all-time career reception record in the postseason, Kelce declared, “The Chiefs are still the Chiefs.” You really have to put up a battle to maintain your right to party! We’re heading to Las Vegas, believe it or not, baby.”
