In an attempt to offer Luke Williams additional alternatives in the final third before the window closes, a move to sign the quick wide player on loan until the end of the season is expected to be announced later today.

The 19-year-old’s arrival in south Wales will accompany that of fellow Gunners loanee Charlie Patino. Ronald, a Brazilian winger, arrived earlier in the window for an unknown seven-figure price.
It’s thought that his arrival won’t automatically result in one of Swansea’s existing group of loanees leaving; at five, that is the maximum number that FIFA allows to be listed in a matchday squad.

After leaving Fulham in 2015, Sagoe Jr. progressed through the youth divisions before joining Arsenal. At the age of sixteen, he made his debut at the under-18 level in 2021.

Since then, he has made frequent appearances for the under-21 team this season. He has also participated in the UEFA Youth League, where he had a stellar performance against PSV, a team that is based in the Netherlands, earning three assists.
Whether Sagoe Jr. is Swansea’s final window arrival is still to be determined. Tochi Chukwuani, a Danish midfielder, has been mentioned, although it’s unclear at this point if he’s a real target.

There may yet be departures. A few months after joining from Blackpool in a £2.5 million deal, some have suggested that Jerry Yates would be leaving, with Blackburn Rovers purportedly being one of the interested parties.

A sale, though, doesn’t appear likely just now. First off, the 27-year-old, who has scored six goals this season, is reportedly admired by new manager Luke Williams.

Of course, the scene may change if Swansea were to sign a new striker, who is undoubtedly on their wishlist. However, as of this writing, it doesn’t seem like a close move.
