Have you ever witnessed the supporters of a college football team demand the resignation of the athletic director in less than a month following a national championship win?

Everything has its first instance, though.

Fans of Michigan Wolverines have started a petition to fire AD Warde Manuel after Jim Harbaugh rejected his alma institution in favor of the NFL.

The petition claims that Wade Manuel has personally ruined several occasions for the University of Michigan during his time there, and that his current decision to keep Coach Jim Harbaugh in charge of the school’s most valued and profitable athletic program might have fatal consequences.

Some of Michigan’s most well-known and accomplished coaches, Erik Bakich and John Beilien, left because of his failings, and he has done nothing to address issues raised by other sports programs, such as inadequate swimming facilities, a reluctance to work with or promote non-varsity teams, etc.

College Football Report on X: "At some point Michigan fans need to stop blaming AD Warde Manuel for the Harbaugh situation and understand that he's wanted a Super Bowl since the day

The University of Michigan’s collegiate athletic programs are falling behind the times as a result of these alarming setbacks, which also pose a threat to the remarkable success that Michigan’s athletic departments have attained. It’s time to let go of Warde and his hurtful mistakes.

Michigan and Manuel have experienced some problems. There is chaos in the basketball program. Furthermore, it’s said that the Wolverines are out of step with the NIL.

But in football, they just won a national championship! The one item that supporters of the Wolverines have been longing for more than 25 years!
