Following his departure from the City Ground, Joe Worrall issued a message to Nottingham Forest.
The defender left the Reds to spend the remainder of the season on loan at Besiktas. In the summer, the Turkish club has the option to finalize the transfer.
Forest released a statement on Monday confirming his departure. The statement said, “Joe Worrall has concluded a loan move to Beşiktaş, a Turkish Süper Lig side.”
“The defender will spend the rest of the season on loan in Turkey, where the Turkish team has the option to extend the agreement after the season.
Worrall, the club captain, is a 2011 academy product who has played 226 games for The Reds in the first squad.
The 27-year-old made 30 Premier League matches the previous year as Forest won promotion in their first season back in the top division. This season, he has made nine appearances.
