A former West Ham midfielder had been irate at the lack of interest from Premier League teams.
Jesse Lingard, a former midfielder for West Ham and Manchester United, has reached an agreement to sign a two-year contract with FC Seoul of South Korea.
After completing a medical examination, the 31-year-old is in Seoul to complete his relocation.
Since leaving Nottingham Forest in the summer of last year, Lingard has not been with a club.
After a tryout in October, he was hesitant to join Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia.
Due to his frustration with many inquiries not being fulfilled, Lingard fired his representatives, including those from his own family, last month due to a lack of interest from the Premier League.
Despite Lingard’s good loan stint in 2021, West Ham was one among the clubs that was hesitant to sign him last month.
