JUST IN: Despite having a nearly $3 million NIL valuation waiting in the wings, Arch Manning won't start the next season.

In college football, Arch Manning may have the best job.

With Quinn Ewers returning for the 2024 campaign and Manning—who was extensively recruited out of high school—waiting another year to have his chance at quarterback, the Texas Longhorns are currently in an awkward quarterbacking predicament.

It was made very evident by Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian on Wednesday that Ewers will start at quarterback for the team next season and that his two QBS will not compete for the position.

Sarkisian informed Inside Texas, “Quinn’s our starter.”

Arch Manning Won't Start Next Season According to Coach Sark

“I don’t believe Quinn was quite ready yet. And as we approach year three, I believe there’s still a lot of space for him to grow and improve as a player,” the coach added. “His maturity and experience are definitely going to be assets for him,”

Manning can still make a lot of money if he so chooses, even though he has already been benched.

Despite playing very little last season, Manning managed to make the top 5 in NIL valuations, with a NIL valuation of $2.8 million, according to ON3.

Even though he hasn’t yet reached the full extent of his enormous earning potential, Manning will have been able to make about $6 million before turning into a starting collegiate quarterback.

Even though Arch is probably frustrated that he won’t be the one to start next, he can’t be too upset about the circumstances.
