A Wigan man was charged with eight years of domestic abuse against his wife, but the case against him was dropped.
Between December 29, 2015, and December 30, 2023, Steven Sharrock, 49, of Lyndon Avenue in Shevington, was charged with one instance of controlling or coercive behavior against his spouse.
However, the matter was dropped and Mr. Sharrock was told he may go when it was brought before Bolton Crown Court for a second hearing.
