We reported on a Greek report on Wednesday, stating that Odysseas Vlachodimos might quit Nottingham Forest if things at City Ground didn’t get better.
The goalkeeper was signed in the summer, but it’s obvious that neither Nuno Espírito Santo nor Steve Cooper were impressed because the team made a special effort to get Matz Sels.
The goalie is obviously irritated by this, and his resentment has spread to Germany, where writer Florian Plettenberg shares his insights on X, a platform that was once known as Twitter.
He confirms rumors that Vlachodimos wants to leave Nottingham Forest during the upcoming transfer window since he is “unhappy” there.
Despite having a contract with the club till 2027, it is believed that the Tricky Trees “would give him the green light” and would want a sum of €4-5 million.
Nottingham Forest would be able to recoup their investment since they had to pay €4.9 million to get him from Benfica to City Ground on September 1st of last year.
Vlachodimos would want to play for a team where he is the unchallenged leader, which is obviously not the case at the Premier League team these days.
