A number of players, both current and former, have responded to Nottingham Forest’s announcement last week on the departure of forgotten man Richie Laryea.
Now that Laryea has at last made his way off the City Ground permanently, what has been said about him? Let’s investigate more closely.
After leaving Nottingham Forest, Richie Laryea
Unfortunately, Laryea’s journey to Europe didn’t end up being the transformative experience she had planned for.
Laryea was possibly a victim of Forest’s success since he only made five appearances for the squad.
Laryea is back with Toronto FC after spending two stints on loan with Vancouver Whitecaps and Toronto FC.
He just finalized a permanent transfer to Toronto FC, and it’s safe to assume that, as a player from Canada, he will regard this as a homecoming to his own country.
The Canada international appears to have been a well-liked player at the City Ground.
Following his Instagram post in which he expressed his satisfaction in representing Forest, he has gotten responses from a number of people, including Brice Samba and Brennan Johnson.
Johnson replied, “Good luck, brother,” after joining Tottenham for £47.5 million in the summer. It was enjoyable.
Another player to leave Forest was Samba, who did so in the summer of 2022 following his promotion.
He wrote “Brudda” on social media and accompanied it with an emoji of a heart.
Because of his limited playing time, Laryea’s tenure at Forest won’t be remembered by the supporters for very long.
Though he left the team, he is another player who, in our opinion, deserves the goodwill of the fans because he talked highly of the football team.
