At the end of the 2023–24 season, the Baltimore Ravens were just one victory away from playing in the Super Bowl.
The agonizing AFC Championship defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs cast further doubt on Baltimore’s capacity to prevail in pivotal moments.
Baltimore will be plagued with those queries over the offseason. However, the Ravens aren’t letting the setback interfere with their offseason preparations.
The Ravens are trying to bolster their squad, especially at running back, according to NFL reporter Jeremy Fowler.
Fowler stated, “They could add a playmaker at running back,” on Sunday’s SportsCenter. The best running backs on the market are Derrick Henry, D’Andre Swift, and Saquon Barkley. While cost could be a concern, they are completing the assigned reading.”
Fowler added, “Could you imagine Saquon Barkley and Lamar Jackson in the same backfield?” was uttered by someone in the Ravens organization.
During the 2023–24 season, the running back room of the Ravens looked like a revolving door. In Week 1, JK Dobbins had an injury that would ruin his season, and in Week 15, Keaton Mitchell tore his ACL.
Running back responsibilities for Baltimore were shared by Gus Edwards, Dalvin Cook, and Justice Hill at the end of the season. The Ravens are interested in a few of the top running backs available in the 2024 free agent class.
