Jail for Wigan man who got behind wheel while banned and three times over drink-drive limit

A guy has been imprisoned for driving while ineligible and for twice violating a restraining order.
In Hindley on February 20, Dean Lally, 43, of Fell Street, Leigh, entered a guilty plea to stealing a Vauxhall Astra on February 19 without the owner’s permission and operating it while banned and without insurance.

Additionally, he acknowledged that his breathalyzer reading of 122 milligrams of alcohol per 100 milliliters above the legal limit of 35 milligrams.

Lally entered a guilty plea to twice breaking a restraining order by visiting a woman’s house on December 15 and February 19, when he was not allowed to have any contact with her.

He was given a 36-week jail term, a two-year restraining order, and a 40-month driving restriction by Wigan judges.
