Another asset has been added by the Bills for the 2024 NFL Draft. Ryan Bates, an offensive lineman, and a fifth round selection from the Chicago Bears have signed to terms with Buffalo.
March 13 is when the trade will officially close, pending a physical.
Bates played in 73 games and made 19 starts over his five seasons with Buffalo. In 2023, he made 17 appearances but did not start any games.

With compensatory picks that the NFL will reveal this month, the Bills will have ten selections in this year’s draft. The 28th choice in the first round of the draft is guaranteed to the Bills. Here are their draft selections:

Chicago (2024 Ryan Bates trade pending physical) is the fifth round.

Round six: via LA Rams (2021 NFL Draft deal) and Denver (2023 NFL Draft trade)

The draft this year will be held in Detroit from April 25–27.
