A guy from the Wigan borough was sentenced to suspended jail time after attacking a woman and stealing her bank cards and phone.
On February 18, Joseph Groves, 28, of Shadwell Grove, Leigh, entered a guilty plea to assaulting the woman by hitting her and robbing her.
He was given a 10-week jail term with a 12-month suspension by Manchester magistrates.
