The crown court will hear the case of a guy who is accused of threatening a man with a knife and strangling a lady.
Robert Hoofe, 38, of Chisworth Close, Leigh, is accused of purposefully strangling a lady on March 2 and putting a man in danger of severe bodily injury by brandishing a weapon in a private setting.
The matter was transferred to Bolton Crown Court by Wigan judges for a hearing on April 5.
Remanded under conditional bail, he was.
