David Moyes emphasized, "Breaking News: I'm determined to extend this run and further establish our presence in European competitions. Europe is bigger than me."

David Moyes hopes to make it back to Europe!

David Moyes, the manager of West Ham, has stated that the team is determined to qualify for Europe the next season. Speaking ahead of SC Freiburg’s matchup in the Europa League last 16 tomorrow, Moyes sounded upbeat.

“I want us to continue our strong performance in Europe and aim for European qualification through the league as well,” Moyes said in a press conference. Even though there was a rough patch, I think we are now back on track and moving in the right way. We’re hoping to keep this going tomorrow night.

It’s unclear if Moyes unintentionally alluded to his intention to manage West Ham again the following season, but his attention is clearly on the game that will take place in Germany.

Notably, Moyes also emphasized West Ham’s stellar record in Europe when he was their manager. It is an amazing accomplishment for West Ham to be able to participate in Europe. We’ve played in more than 30 games in the last three years, and I’m motivated to keep playing and grow our team’s presence in European tournaments,” he said.

Naturally, it wouldn’t be a legitimate Moyes news conference if he didn’t remind everyone of his incredible track record with the Hammers in Europe. But given the current criticism, he presumably feels compelled to continually remind everyone of his track record.

Maxwel Cornet has not gone with the group, Moyes further pointed out. Other than that, he has an almost totally fit squad to select from, though considering his previous lack of substitutes, I would anticipate a few alterations.
