The LSU women’s swimming & diving team is gearing up for the 2024 NCAA Championships, which will take place at the University of Georgia’s Gabrielson Natatorium from March 20-23.

Every session of the meet will be streamed on ESPN+, and live results can be followed online or via the Meet Mobile app.
LSU boasts a total of nine qualifiers heading to Athens, including six swimmers and three divers. The team aims to secure its second consecutive top-15 finish at the NCAA Championships, with six of the qualifiers possessing prior experience at the national level.
In terms of events, six swimmers will participate, with a focus on the 800-yard freestyle relay, 200-yard freestyle relay, and 400-yard freestyle relay. Notably, at the 2024 SEC Championships, the 400-free relay team automatically qualified for NCAAs with a stellar performance. Individual swimmers Megan Barnes and Sofia Sartori will also compete, with Barnes taking on the 500-yard freestyle, 200-yard freestyle, and 100-yard freestyle, while Sartori will tackle the 100-yard butterfly, 200-yard backstroke, and 200-yard butterfly.
In diving, all three of LSU’s divers secured qualification by meeting the required placements in the diving regional. Montserrat Gutierrez Lavenant will compete across all three disciplines, Helle Tuxen will dive on platform and three-meter, and Maggie Buckley will compete on the tower.
