Reims are reportedly getting ready for the possibility of Will Still’s departure as Sunderland shows interest.
According to recent rumors, Reims is reportedly searching for Will Still’s replacement due to connections to Sunderland.
According to reports circulating in Europe, the French top division team is getting ready for life without the 31-year-old as summer approaches. It is anticipated that Sunderland will name Michael Beale’s replacement at this time.
Reims are rumored to have chosen Habib Beye, the current manager of French third-tier Red Star and a former midfielder for Newcastle United, as a potential replacement for Still should he decide to depart for new opportunities at the end of the season.
Even though he was somewhat successful at an early age and acknowledged that he had practiced some of his talents on the well-known video game Football Manager, he managed to capture the attention of football circles and followers on social media.
Still, who was born in Belgium to English parents, managed Lierse, Beerschot, and Remis after serving as assistant manager of Preston North End’s under-14 squad. He also played amateur and semi-professional football.
After Tony Mowbray was fired, Still was strongly linked to the Sunderland position, and his name kept coming up after Michael Beale was fired earlier this year.
In a recent interview with The Athletic, Still reaffirmed his willingness to work for the Championship in the future.
“I have no issues working for a championship team,” Still declared. “I’ve come to realize how important people are,” the speaker said. And how crucial it will be for my work to locate the ideal location. and those that are aware of how I operate, as I do things a little differently. Sometimes I’m a little strange.
