Ndidi wanted

According to reports, Wilfred Ndidi, the midfielder for Leicester City, is attracting attention from Premier League clubs. TuttoJuve claims that both West Ham United and Crystal Palace are interested in acquiring the midfielder, as they look to strengthen their midfield options for the upcoming summer transfer window.

Southampton blow

Southampton goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu will be sidelined until 2025 after sustaining a ruptured Achilles tendon. Bazunu, who had been an ever-present figure, playing in every minute of every league game for the Saints prior to Tuesday night’s match against Preston North End, suffered the injury during the warm-up and subsequently underwent surgery.

Russell Martin commented on Bazunu’s condition, stating, “I spoke to him before the operation and he wasn’t in a good place, but last night he was way more positive. We will rally behind him. We’re really devastated for Gav. But he’ll get through it and be stronger for it. We look forward to seeing him on Monday.”

“Gavin has encountered a significant setback, and there will undoubtedly be moments of darkness and solitude over the next 10 months. However, we are fully committed to supporting him and rallying around him during this challenging time.”

Szmodics eyeing step up

Blackburn Rovers’ standout player, Sammie Szmodics, is confident in his ability to make the leap to the Premier League. The attacking midfielder has impressively netted 30 goals throughout the campaign, garnering significant attention ahead of the summer transfer window.

Speaking to Talksport, Szmodics expressed his readiness for the next level, stating, “I would like to think so [ready to make the step up]. It is obviously about getting that opportunity and chance to do so. Hopefully, I have shown people who doubted me in the Championship that I can make that step up and perform at this level. We will see what the future holds, but obviously it is everyone’s dream to play in the Premier League, and hopefully, I can achieve that.”

With his stellar performances and ambitious aspirations, Szmodics is poised to attract considerable interest as he aims to realize his dream of competing in the Premier League.
