Elijhah Badger, a former wide receiver for Arizona State, declared his commitment to Florida. Badger is rated as a four-star receiver by the On3 Transfer Portal Industry Rankings. Badger’s two final options were Arizona and Washington.
During his time with the Sun Devils, the former wide receiver for Arizona State totaled 1,640 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. He spent four seasons with the Sun Devils, participating in 35 games, so he’ll have a ton of experience.
This is a significant boost for the Gators, who recently lost last season’s leading wideout, Ricky Pearsall, to the San Francisco 49ers in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
Badger attended Folsom High School in Sacramento, California, and was a member of the 2020 class. On most recruiting sites, he was a four-star receiver in the past. Following him out of high school were Utah, Wisconsin, and Washington State.
Texas A&M, Tennessee, Michigan, Oregon, Nebraska, Colorado, USC, Oregon State, Kansas State, and Duke were among his Power 4 offers.
Chimere Dike, a former Wisconsin receiver, has also joined the Gators via the gateway. In 2024, Billy Napier will be looking for his first successful season as Florida’s head coach.
