LSU has announced the departure of another key player. Fifth-year senior running back Noah Cain declared for the 2024 NFL Draft.

Cain, who transferred from Penn State in 2022, accumulated 590 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns over his two seasons at LSU. Despite being eligible to return as a sixth-year senior, he opted to pursue his professional career.

His departure marks another significant change in LSU’s running-back lineup, which has seen several players move on recently.

LSU had another departure from what had been a deep running back room as fifth-year senior Noah Cain declared Monday for the 2024 NFL Draft. Cain, a Baton Rouge native, started his career at Penn State.

He then transferred to LSU in 2022 and rushed for 590 yards and 13 touchdowns over the last two seasons.
