Breaking: Josh Hart and Tyrese Haliburton now SAVAGE back-and-forth over rivalry

This season, Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers and Josh Hart of the New York Knicks have developed a quiet rivalry. The two played each other in the second round of the playoffs and had exchanged a good deal of insults. But now, a long time after the two concluded their individual seasons, Hart and Haliburton were joking around on social media.

With the caption “end of chapter 4,” Tyrese Haliburton shared some memories from his fourth season in the NBA on Instagram. Josh Hart was drawn to the Pacers guard’s addition of images showing his many clothes during the season.

Hart wasted no time in chiming in, commenting on the post within an hour, sparking a playful exchange between the two.

“Started and ended with trash fits,” Josh Hart quipped.

Tyrese Haliburton swiftly fired back, “You became an analyst after playing us.”

Unfazed, Hart responded, “And somehow we both won the same amount of games.”

Their banter continued as Hart teased Haliburton about his outfits, while the Pacers guard didn’t hesitate to poke fun at Hart’s new analyst role. Haliburton’s comment referenced Hart’s recent appearance on ESPN’s NBA countdown during the finals, humorously alluding to Hart’s Instagram caption where he jokingly entertained the idea of quitting basketball to become an analyst.

Hart, though, may have struck a deeper chord when he brought up the Pacers’ postseason history to Haliburton. In the Eastern Conference semifinals, the Pacers overcame the Knicks in seven games, but they were swept in the following round. Fans undoubtedly loved the discussion, even though it may have hurt the athletes a little.

Josh Hart called out Tyrese Haliburton for getting swept against the Celtics

Hart has previously criticized Haliburton for losing the Eastern Conference finals 0–4 in remarks posted on Instagram. The subject was covered on Hart and Jalen Brunson’s podcast, the Roommates Show, following the conclusion of the show. Co-host Matt Hillman said he was feeling good following the Pacers’ sweep throughout the conversation.

When Hillman questioned the Knicks pair about whether they shared the same sentiment, Brunson disclosed that they had spoken with Haliburton. Brunson reported feeling “better” when Hart confronted Haliburton directly. Hart claimed that if the Knicks had been in the series, they would have performed better.

I seem to have muttered something along the lines of, “Damn, you guys couldn’t win one?” We lost to you in Game 7, whatever, you guys are crazy. After three leads in the fourth, you guys couldn’t manage a single victory? Josh Hart stated

In their four losses to the Celtics, the Pacers experienced three blowouts. The squad missed numerous opportunities in the last seconds despite coming quite close. The injury to Haliburton was a major factor in the deficit. The guard will now need to rebound stronger in the upcoming season to keep Hart from making jokes like these.
